I want to create a stop-motion effect in my videos to make them look a bit more dramatic. How it is done in Sony Vegas and Sony Vegas Movie Studio?
The stop motion effect is achieved relatively easily achieved in Sony Vegas and Sony Vegas Movie Studio.
What you need to do to apply this effect to a clip is to right-click it selecting the Properties option.
Next, go to the Undersample rate box and type a value below 1.000, e.g. 0.250 to cut the fps rate for the event.
Click OK when you're done and your clip should have the stop-motion effect applied to it. That's it!
