If your Firefox window shakes or bounces, then the window you are trying to view is probably too large for your screen resolution. This is often caused by too many buttons you placed on Firefox toolbar. You can easily reset these buttons and revert them to their default locations by running Firefox in Safe Mode (click Start > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox Safe-ModeOR run the following command in command prompt:
firefox.exe -safe-mode).
Now Firefox runs in Safe Mode check the Reset toolbars and controls option and press the button Make Changes and Restart.
Your toolbars and buttons should have been restored to their default setting.If your Firefox window still shakes or cannot fit to the screen resolution, the probable cause for this is the theme you are using. Did you recently install a new theme? If so, try reverting to the original Firefox theme and see what happens.
