How to extend Sony Vegas trial?

My sony Vegas trial is about to expire in a few days. Is there any way I could prolong the trial period?

In order to run Sony Vegas Movie Studio after trial expires you will either need to buy a licensed copy or re-install Windows and vegas. Simply uninstalling and reinstalling vegas won't work because they placed security in Windows registry that prevents trial from running after it expires.

The quickest and surest way is to buy a legal copy of Sony Vegas. The software is worth it.

Uninstall the Sony Vegas,

back up your registry

find all keys in the registry that correspond to "VEGAS", delete them

install Sony Vegas and you'll 30 days trial again :)

What you're going to do is kinda of computer piracy, because by the terms you agreed to you are only eligible to use the software for 30 days (or whatever your license says). From the legal point of view you can't extend trial period, but you can of course do it using cracks and serial number generators out there but I don't recommend doing it unless you want to catch a serious virus infection.
