How to Defragment Disk with Norton 360

Disk defragmentation can optimize your PC's disks performance and free up some unused space. Norton 360 includes a Disk Optimization feature, that automatically performs optimization checks and runs defragmentation as needed.

Usually, defragmentation is run when more than 10 percent of your disk files is fragmented.

If you want to run manual defragmentation in Norton 360, you can do this by following these steps: Open Norton 360 main window (mouse-click on the Norton tray icon) > hover the mouse over the PC Tuneup area > click Run Disk Optimization. Optimization routines will be executed. Click Close when the optimization completes.
