How to Change Email Protection Level in Kaspersky
Kaspersky comes with three different levels of email protection: high, recommended and low. You can change your current email protection level at any time.
High protection level is recommended for non-secured environments that are likely to be receiving lots of spam and scam messages. Such environments include free email services that often fall victim to massive spam attacks.
Recommended protection level is enabled by default delivering a fair level of protection at a relatively high scan speed.
Low protection level gives you the speed at the expense of security. This protection level is recommended only in strongly secured environments with redundant protection systems such as corporate networks with centralized anti-virus servers
To change your current email protection settings in Kaspersky do the following:
- Open the main application window and click Settings at the window top
- Go to the Mail Anti-Virus in the Protection area
- Select desired level of protection: High, Recommended or Low
